Five Burglary Suspects Arrested

Palatka, FL: Over the past two days Putnam County Sheriff’s Office detectives have arrested four men and one woman who are believed to be linked to several recent thefts and burglaries that have occurred primarily in the Bostwick area. Those arrested are 19 year old Jason Allen Kemp Jr., 24 year old Joshua D. Dey, 19 year old Travis R. Dey, 19 year old Kyleen L. Norberg and 23 year old Ryan L. Lewis. The five individuals were linked to numerous stolen items that were pawned at local pawn shops to include jewelry, tools and precious metals. Sheriff Jeff Hardy said “Thanks to the excellent work of property crimes detectives Lynn Nicely and Matt Griffin this particular ring of individuals are off the streets of Putnam County and will face their punishment in the criminal justice system”.

The suspects were booked into the Putnam County Jail and charged as follows:
 
Jason Kemp – dealing in stolen property and two counts of the violation of probation, he is currently being held with no bond.  Kemp is also facing multiple additional felony charges that have been filed with the State Attorney’s Office on other related cases.
 
Joshua Dey – burglary and larceny, he is currently being held on a bond of $6,008.00.
 
Travis Dey – burglary and larceny, he is currently being held on a bond of $2,008.00.
 
Kyleen Norberg – dealing in stolen property, burglary and larceny, she is currently being held on a bond of $8,512.00.
 
Ryan Lewis - dealing in stolen property, burglary and larceny, he is currently being held on a bond of $8,512.00.
