Interlachen, FL: On Monday, September 9, 2013, Putnam County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested three juveniles after a nighttime crime spree.
The trio, identified as David Tabbert, Christian Withrow and Adam Boyd ran away from home at approximately 10:30 p.m. on September 8, 2013. They then set about on a night of mischief, ending in their arrest. Before they were taken into custody, the three burglarized five vehicles, two sheds and the Station 17 Volunteer Fire Department in Interlachen Lakes Estates.
Some of the property stolen from the various locations included a metal detector, a GPS unit, 2 fire extinguishers, fresh fish, a chainsaw, 2 butcher knives, 3 cases of compact discs, 2 bottles of cologne, 2 baseball gloves, a digital camera, a cellphone, various food items, a first aid kit, ammunition, a pair of bolt cutters and a garbage can.
The investigation revealed that the juveniles initially took a garbage can from the first burglary location, using it to store their spoils.
The three were located by deputies and detectives and were interviewed. They were subsequently arrested on the following charges:
David Tabbert - burglary of a structure, grand theft, criminal mischief
Christian Withrow - burglary of a structure, grand theft, and criminal mischief
Adam Boyd - burglary of a structure, grand theft, and criminal mischief
All three were taken to a juvenile detention facility in Gainesville, Florida.
