|Satsuma, FL: Detective Chris Gay with the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, Detective Bureau was investigating a larceny case when he discovered a number of articles of jewelry had been pawned at the Northeast Florida Metal Exchange.
The investigation revealed that the suspect, identified as Allison Gautier had stolen several gold rings, assorted coins, gold necklaces, several power tools, and a .45 caliber revolver from her parents. Several of the items were recovered by Detective Gay and he was able to make contact with the victims in this case.
Further investigation revealed that Gautier and her boyfriend, Joshua Imm were residing with her parents when the items disappeared. On Monday, April 15, 2013, Gautier was arrested and charged with 8 counts Dealing in Stolen Property, 8 counts Fraud, 2 counts Larceny, and Burglary. Gautier received a bond in the amount of $89,576.00.
On Tuesday, April 16, 2013, Joshua Imm was arrested and charged with 2 counts Larceny, Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon, Burglary, and Dealing in Stolen Property. Imm received a bond in the amount of $12,020.00.
Joshua Imm is the son of Sheriff Jeff Hardy, Sheriff Hardy stated “I love my son, but I do not condone his actions and my agency will not show him any favoritism”.
