Suspicious Vehicle Investigation Leads to Drug Arrest

Interlachen, FL; On February 20, 2013 at approximately 1:20 a.m., Deputy Klayton Usina was patrolling the area of 1014 State Road 20 when he observed a suspicious vehicle parked next to a gas station that was not open for business.

Deputy Usina made contact with the driver of the vehicle, identified as Wendy Fox and two additional passengers. Deputy Usina confirmed that one of the passengers was a juvenile. 

The investigation revealed that Fox was in possession of Methamphetamine and drug related paraphernalia. Fox was placed under arrest for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Child Endangerment and transported to the Putnam County Jail for booking.

After Fox was delivered to the jail, a routine search was conducted of her person. An additional drug was located in her undergarments.  Fox was subsequently charged with Introduction of Contraband into a Detention Facility. Fox was given a bond of $3516.00.
